This workshop is aimed at photographers working or wishing to work in the Glamour/Boudoir genera. The instructor, Carlos Guzman, will focus on the following topics:

• Working relationship between the model and the photographer
• Finding Models
• What is required to achieve a successful photo shoot....moving beyond just taking pictures, to creating compelling images.
• Picking outfits, props, locations
• How to effectilvly work with makeup
• Legal considerations
• Communications between model and photographer before, during, and after a shoot.
• Making the model feel comfortable so you can make beautiful images

This is a hands-on workshop. Each participant having ample time to shoot. Additionally, the group will be given a demonstration by a professional makeup artist. The workshop will include in-depth discussions of lighting and setup. We will examine the different lighting affects that can be achieved with:

• Unmodified strobes
• Umbrellas
• Softboxes
• Grid lighting

In addition to professional equipment, Carlos will also discuss ways of using everyday equipment, such as your own flash strobe, to get great results. Join us for a great weekend of learning and shooting!
